About Kathryn Betts Adams, MSW, PhD 

A former clinical social worker and social work professor, Dr. Adams researches and writes about aging, health, and mental health. Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, she now lives in West Hartford, Connecticut. She wrote her memoir to share both her personal experiences and her knowledge about family relationships and the challenges of aging and helping to care for older loved ones.
